I have started some Christmas knits, the first is a Chevron Scarf (top picture) from Last Minute Knitted Gifts by Joelle Hoverson, knitted using Colinette Jitterbug in Florentina and Gaugain. It is coming along well and is now about 12 inches 🙂
The second is a Clapotis scarf knitted in South West Trading Company Bamboo in purplexed. It is a stunning yarn which feels so soft and silky.
I am really enjoying knitting both at the moment but scarves are notoriously repetative so we’ll see how I get on 😉

Oasis is gorgeous to knit with, isn’t it? I knitted a hat in the very same yarn and colour and it was real pleasure from start to finish.
Both are really lovely but I especially like the chevron scarf.
